Excerpts from
Julia Kim’s Testimony
on September 13th, 2014
St. John Paul the Great "I also witnessed
The Eucharistic Miracle through Julia from Naju, Korea."
PraiseJesus! Praise the Blessed Mother!
Itis very nice to see you all on the first Saturday of September in the beginning
of the holy month of martyrs. I have participated every church activity including
the Charismatic Movement because I was overjoyed ever since I came to know God
the Father. However I was so stunned when I saw most of the volunteers were
filled with pride. It did not come from my own judgment but Our Lord allowed me
to see this.
Iwanted to conceal my bashful thought of ‘Jesus! Even though I have served a
banquet until now, from now on, I really want to clean up the mess (wash the
dishes) after it.’ However, here I am standing in front of all of you because Our
Lord made me stand right here in front of you.
I believe that many of you were at Yeouido to see the Holy Father on May 6th
1984, wasn’t it? I know that many people gathered to see the Holy Father, Pope
Francis when he was in Korea this time. Likewise, there were countless people who
came to the Yeouido Square. My parish church borrowed about 16 buses to go to
Seoul. It took a lot of time to get to an assigned spot for my church.
By
the way, it looks like I have had such a strong connection with over-weight old
women. When I made a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Lourdes for 23 days, I had to
take the old lady around. There was an old woman from Kumcheon-chapel who
weighed over 90kg when I went to Yeouido Square. No one took care of her even when
she could barely walk with a waddle because of her weight and couldn’t keep up
with other people.
At that time, my height was 162cm, and I weighed 53kg and my waist size was 24
inches. People told me that I was so delicate that I could fly away in the
wind. However, I couldn’t be happier and it was easy to carry her on my back because
I thought ‘I am not just carrying an old woman but I am carrying Jesus who
carries a heavy cross for us, sinners on my back.’
The Miracle of the Sun took place during the Canonization on that day, didn’t it?
Even though I thought ‘What our God, who is almighty, couldn’t do?’ and I offered
up my sacrifices and penance for our Holy Father’s physical and spiritual
health, praying that my efforts may be a consolation to the Blessed Mother that
all the sinners may repent their sins. It was too much for me to carry the old
woman alone. So I asked other men in my group but no one offered their hands to
help me.
I was able to go through all the way to the end because of an overflowing joy beating
in my heart filling me with happiness and love ever since I took a first step
of embracing the Catholic faith at that time. On my way back to Naju, a lusty
man said, “Let me carry her on my back.” But within his first few steps, he
said “Oh my! I can’t do this. You are a strong woman even though you look
fragile!” and the old woman said to me, “Thank you very much. How can a woman
like you who is so skinny that a wind could blow you away, carries a woman like
me who weighed a lot on your back? I could have been in great trouble if you
weren’t there.”
Then I replied, “I am a mother who has four kids, and I am not an unmarried woman.”
Then the old woman was very surprised. Next Sunday at the church, she said to
me that “Oh, nice to meet you! Would you give me your address? My son will
bring you a bag of rice as a gift of appreciation.” So I replied, “I can’t give
you the address and I don’t need rice from you. I won’t see you again if you
give me rice because I did what I had to do. Do you understand? However,
instead of giving me rice, I would like you to treat your daughter-in-law
better with love. Then she said “Ah! I will also give my love to others that I
should give her, because of the love that you gave to me.”
I did only what
I was supposed to do
St.John Paul the Great has some relations with Naju. When Julio and I had an
audience with the Holy Father in the Vatican in 1992, I gave him a statue of
the Blessed Mother of Naju and Julio gave him a scroll of the picture of the
Blessed Mother shedding Tears of Blood. When the Holy Father, through Monsignor
Vincent Tu invited us to the Vatican in 1995, the Eucharistic Miracle happened.
The then Holy Father, Pope John Paul II mentioned to the cardinals and bishops
that “I also witnessed the Eucharistic Miracle through Julia Kim from Naju.” in
his intent to approve Naju officially.
Also, when the Holy Father (John Paul II) prayed the Angelus with the crowd in the
Vatican, he said again, “I also witnessed the Eucharistic Miracle.” He always prayed
the Angelus together with pilgrims at his window followed by short speeches. He
took great pains working toward the approval of the Blessed Mother of Naju.
However, the Archdiocese of Gwangju negated the Holy Father’s intent because he
was the one who never straighten out what they did when they set off on the
wrong foot.
Pope Francis said, “Whoever doesn’t accept Our Lady is an orphan.” Even though other
Pontiffs have mentioned about Naju many times, many people who believe in the same
God have chosen to live as a persecutors. Let us be faithful and loyal to Our
Lord so that everyone repent their sins and return to God in this Holy Month of
Martyrs.
Martyrdomin this age doesn’t require sacrifice of someone’s life anymore. What is most
important is to live every moment and every day of our lives with the spirit of
martyrdom by arming ourselves with the Five Spiritualities of Naju. This is precisely
martyrdom in our daily lives that Our Lord and the Blessed Mother want from us.
How many incidents have happened all around the world! The Blessed Mother said
anxiously, “When snow falls and cold wind blows, you know winter is beginning.
When new buds sprout, you know it is spring. Then, why do you still not
understand that these disasters are the signs of the beginning of great
calamities?”
Let us live
a life of martyrdom that can spiritually ignite souls
We always have to be awake spiritually because there are constant accidents in
this world every day. We are now going on that road remaining fully awake. The Lord
and the Blessed Mother promised us, “Violent raging waves threaten to sweep you
away, I will protect you, who are following me with trust and faith. I will
sustain you like a person who never yields his integrity even in adversity and
lead you to the Heavenly Garden.” Do you remember?
In1980, when I ran a beauty salon, I had to change briquettes many times
a day. I couldn’t have a break because beauty treatment was very laborious by
standing all day and moreover, my shop was so crowded with clients that they
had to wait for even 3-4 hours. Nevertheless, I had to wake up in the middle of
the night to change briquettes. However, I was happy to change it with a spirit
of martyrdom.
There will be no joy if we do something out of an obligation. However, I was really
overjoyed because whenever I changed a briquette, I meditate on Jesus who
carried the Cross for us. I could meditate well while I was changing the
briquettes, thinking of martyrdom. Dear Children of God! If we want to ignite a
new briquette, old one has to go beneath the new one, doesn’t it?
That was how I realized the principle of the briquette that ‘Ah~! This is it! Many
people want to rule over, but how could that principle ignite anyone if they don’t
go beneath others, first! I have to go under and be an igniter for others as a
briquette does, without ruling over.
Jesus and the Blessed Mother of Naju have granted various graces, even through the
holy pictures. Elizabeth Park from Hanam-dong church in the Archdiocese of Gwangju,
was financially drained in South Korea after she defected from North Korea with
her little brother when the Korean War broke out. So her brother went to
Indonesia and came back after 16 years with a lot of money he earned. They
started a public bath with the money. One day, her brother started to
hemorrhage from his body and turned out that he had bone marrow cancer.
Therefore, she pleaded to God that “Jesus! Why are you taking my little brother away! We
only have each other. Please spare him!” then she put one decade rosary, a holy
picture of the Blessed Mother of Naju and a scapular under his pillow. When her
brother retook a medical test again, the bone marrow cancer was found to be completely
gone.
Amother of an abbess from a cloistered monastery in India was about to die of
cancer. However, she couldn’t go to see her mother because she was in a
cloistered monastery. Therefore she asked another person to put the holy
picture on her mother’s chest. Her mother who suffered severe pains was
completely healed from the cancer when she held the picture of the Blessed
Mother of Naju and prayed.
Paulwho was in Cheongsong Correctional Institution serving his term of imprisonment
for life, had a lump on his face. For removing the lump, he prayed through the
holy picture of the Blessed Mother who is shedding Tears. He touched the tears on
the picture with his hand and applied it on his lump. One day the lump was
completely healed. Complete trust in our Blessed Mother is that important.
Alot of Miracles and signs that Jesus and the Blessed Mother have given us in
Naju are important, but the contents of the Messages of Love are more
important. If we arm ourselves with the Messages of Love completely and
practice them in our daily lives, not just by reading the Messages, we will
enjoy the eternal happiness in Heaven on the last day. Not everybody who calls
Jesus repeatedly can go to Heaven.
Stagnant
water is bound to rot
Precious Blood of Jesus came down on the pilgrims on the first Saturday Overnight Prayer
Meeting, September 2nd 2006. One priest from Germany also received Precious
Blood, but he said, “I will believe when the blood turns out Jesus’” One Medical
Laboratory Technologist examined the blood on site. It turned out that it was the
same male’s AB positive blood from other test results such as other samples of Precious
Blood and the powder of a cloth stained with Jesus’ Blood that He gave to Julia
Kim.
Why did Jesus pour His Precious Blood to us like this? That is the sign that Jesus wants
to save all of us through the shrine of Naju. However, do not feel sorry that
you haven’t received His Precious Blood. Jesus is giving the graces to all of
us invisibly. When I prayed to Jesus at the exposition of the Eucharist, I saw a
brilliant light radiated from it to all of you. Jesus grants us abundant graces
so that all of us can feel His love. I hope all of you may receive the infinite
graces and love from Jesus and the Blessed Mother today.
Stagnant water is bound to rot, isn’t it? Therefore, when you come to pray for prayer
meeting every month, you will be purified. Jesus and the Blessed Mother are the
ones who purify your souls, and I am only their instrument for this moment.
That is why we have to return all the glory only to the Lord and the Blessed
Mother. I have seen many people who went to the side way when they wanted to be
served.
This happens because those people use their free will that is a precious gift from
God for their own satisfaction. We must not dwell in our pride until we go to
heaven. Samson was a chosen man of God from the moment he was conceived, and who
was not supposed to cut his hair. However, he married a gentile woman. He took revenge
after his wife was taken. He should have lived a life of conversion that the
Lord wanted. But he fell for other gentile woman and told her his secret that was
not supposed to reveal to others. Then how much was he humiliated after his
hair was cut? That was an insult to God the Father. In spite of this, God gave
Samson one last chance by letting his hair grow back and his strength returned.
With that, he pulled the pillars and killed many gentiles at last.
There are
certain levels in Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell
Everyone! I can assure you. I will choose the way to Hell if it is necessary to save all
of you. However, all of us must not go to Hell. And all of you also won’t let
me choose the way to Hell, will you? Let us try coming together to lead and
push each other to the way of Heaven.
We must not go to Hell. The fire of Hell keeps burning the body that is also
deprived of food. It is better not to see food, but food is served there. That
is a form of torture. Even though they might eat some only if they want their
share, they miss even their own because they want to take other’s share as
well. Also a spoon in Hell is longer than their arms but they insist on holding
it at the end of its handle making difficult to eat on their own.
It is foolish that they don’t know how to use a spoon in that situation, but they indeed
become fools when they go to Hell. That is a punishment watching their own food
fall into a fire while they fight over other people’s share. They might hold
their spoon shorter and they might think that they watch their own food go to
waste during the fight. They might have known and realize that ‘I take mine
first then I can have other’s food.’ However, they become a complete fools
blinded by greed.
There are many levels of Hell according to how badly they have lived, and there are also
levels in Purgatory. Similarly, there are levels in Heaven. We become saints
when we go to Heaven eventually. Even we don’t know the names of these people, some
stay closer to Jesus and the Blessed Mother and some stay further from them.
When they stay close to Jesus and the Blessed Mother on the earth, they also stay
close to Jesus and the Blessed Mother when they enter in Heaven.
Our Lord has to put all of us into the furnace to nurture us. Gold has to be
refined in a fire, and without the furnace, it can’t be refined. Jesus nurtured
me like a baby wrapped in a cloth. Jesus heard everything I prayed and helped
me at the first time. However, that moment passed, He started to subject me to severe
pains, and let me feel and understand His pains through other people’s betrayals.
Letus love each other! Even though someone made mistakes, do not just blame them
but learn from what they have done right and wrong, thinking that “Ah! I
shouldn’t do that.” Let us complement the faults of each other, and learn good
things from others and enjoy peace with sharing love at least among us.

testimony
while she was graciously
offering up her extreme pains.
