Excerpts from
Julia Kim’s Testimony
on November 1st, 2014
We will become a saint in Heaven
if we live according to the will of God till the end
Today is a feast day of All Saints. Would you want to become a saint? It will be definitely difficult if you think it is difficult. However, it is not hard to achieve. We will become saints if we follow Jesus’ and the Blessed Mother’s words. People say, “What can I do? I am not a saint.” as if we can never become saints when someone points out our faults. But all the Saints were just human like us before.
Do you think that former blessed departed human beings who have been raised to Sainthood by official canonization of our Catholic Church are the only saints? It is not. I told you this before, didn’t I? People who made efforts to follow the will of God the Father in their lives became potential saints in Heaven even though they weren’t canonized by the Church officially. Therefore, we have to remain awake (spiritually) and offer up ‘Turning every moment of our Lives into Prayers’ resolving ourselves that “I have to walk on the way of sainthood by following Jesus and the Blessed Mother, arming ourselves with the Five Spiritualities.” Then we can naturally follow the way of the Saints.
However, if we think and act conditionally by thinking ‘I must become a saint, so I must not get angry, I must not do this and that, and et cetera.’ it will be difficult to become a saint, because we can’t offer up everything in our lives graciously. Not every saint went straight to God by adopting this way.
Like St. Augustine and St. Francis, many saints hurt the heart of God the Father on their way to Him. The important prerequisites are instant repentance of sins, realization of our faults, contrition, and through reaching out to our Lord and the Blessed Mother when such things happened. Also, making an effort not to commit similar sins again is important. Our Lord and the Blessed Mother always guide us to the righteous way. In the meantime, they count how we make efforts to avoid sinning again.
St. Ignatius Kim Je-jun, who was the father of St. Andrew Kim Dae-gun was captured, tortured and suffered a lot on the charge of entrusting his son to St. Petrus Maubant to send his son to seminarian school in Macao, China. It was so hard for him to endure at first that he turned his back on the faith. However, he retracted his apostasy by sacrificing himself to martyrdom by decapitation and became a martyr. Like this example, saints were weak human beings like us. However, becoming a saint was a reward for their brilliant effort to follow Jesus and the Blessed Mother.
We, too, can certainly go to Heaven if we follow Our Lord and the Blessed Mother and graciously offer up difficulties and sufferings we are undergoing without complaints. According to the Letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians chapter 5 verses 5, greed is the same thing as idolatry. Therefore, from now on, let us rid ourselves of greed. We are not necessarily going to heaven if we only call the name of God. We make mistakes because we are weak. No matter how serious our sins are, we will be forgiven if we instantly repent, confess, and ask for forgiveness. However, we won’t be forgiven if we make excuses and justify ourselves to conceal our faults. Moreover, there are many people who simply go to confession and conveniently slip their sins into the part “For these, and all the sins of my past life” Then their sins won’t be forgiven.
This is simply impossible
In the past, I suffered severe pains that I couldn’t even move my body from Thursday to Friday, I decided Friday as a day off. However, I can’t even pull myself together lately because my pains become more severe on every Thursday that I feel that my body is twisted and feel like that it is so painful and I am dying.
I suffered a lot of pains in my heart in 1996. At that time, there was a man named Willy Maringka who suffered pain in his heart like tons of metal pressed against his chest. The examination result from the heart specialist doctor said that many parts of his coronary artery was almost blocked, especially a bending part of the artery sustained 95 percent blockage already so that he definitely require a blood vessel transplant immediately. But instead of having the surgery, he came to Naju. At the prayer meeting, a host said “Because Julia has offered up tremendous pains in her heart, people who suffer heart diseases and cancer ill be healed.” During the personal meeting with me after the prayer meeting, and according to what he said, I put my hand onto his chest and signed a cross and prayed over him. Then he went into rest in the Holy Spirit. When he came to after a while, I was still praying over him by putting my hand on his chest.
On his way back home, he went to a hospital. Then he found that there were no more obstructions in his bloodvessel. The doctor said, “This is a miracle. This is an absolute impossibility.” He came back in March 2006, and gave a testimony that ‘I have lived in good health until now’ and promised to keep coming to Naju.
The reason I am telling you this story is that I hope every one of you may also receive the grace of healing from God by responding with “Amen”, filled with faith. As I told you before, one woman who had another kind of cancer was healed by responding with “Amen!” when I said “Liver cancer is being healed right now!” while at the same time, I saw one man’s liver cancer was being healed.
A while ago, when I was praying, someone started to cry. Then one volunteer started to sprinkle Holy Water on her and said “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ! Go away Satan!” I stopped the volunteer and said “Sister! Do not do that. She is being healed now.”
Firm Belief and Offering up are important.
The woman who was being healed had been previously disabled from her childhood. But her mother offered her up to the Blessed Mother, saying that, “Mother Mary! I had trouble because I couldn’t take care of my only daughter. Then, how hard it is for Jesus and Mama Mary to take care of these numerous children!” When Blessed Mother brought Baby Jesus coming out of the statue and walked out to the people to touch the sick girl, her mother and her daughter witnessed the Blessed Mother’s doing and they cried together and the girl was healed.
You should know well how important it is to offer up ourselves to God. Liz’s brother, who came from, San Diego, USA has been to Naju and enjoyed joy and love. She was also interested in ' What is Naju like?' She tried to come to Naju. As you know, it is not easy to come to Naju from a foreign country.
Likewise, Liz saved money for 3 years and eventually she came to Naju. Before coming to Naju, she had a serious toothache, but gave up seeing a dentist because she was afraid of the cost of treatment. Prior to the day of pilgrimage to Naju, her belly also suddenly swelled up and she bored severe pain. She rolled in agony but refused to see a doctor because she was afraid that she could not come to Naju. She packed her luggage and took the airplane. After that, she felt better. When she got off the airplane on arrival, her belly became normal and had no more pains. It means making a decision is important, right?
When she arrived at the chapel (also known as The Blessed Mother's House), she could smell strong fragrance of Roses. She looked up to the Blessed Mother's Statue exuding fragrant oil and she could see an image of someone behind the statue (Her elder sister and others witnessed it together). She thought, 'Is that the image of a saint?' Afterward, while praying the Rosary on the Blessed Mother's Mountain, someone informed her, "That woman is Julia Kim." To her surprise, the image behind the statue that she saw in the Chapel was me.
After the Rosary, we went to the Crucifix of Image of Jesus on Mt. Calvary in the Blessed Mother's Mountain. Liz touched the feet of the image of Jesus and saw Our Lord's Precious Blood on her hand. She was so surprised and looked back to show it to me. But she found that I fell down with Our Lord's Precious Blood flowing on my forehead and elsewhere onto my body. She also saw that blood poured out from my heart all of a sudden. When she saw these scenes, she completely realized "Jesus was truly crucified on the cross for all of us!" She received abundant grace from the Blessed Mother and went back home. After that, she brought three of her friends to Naju. She said "Now I wish for no more miracle" At that time, she could not see clearly because of the complications of diabetes and she could hardly go up to the second floor by herself due to knee pains.
Despite of her illness, she was so happy after her pilgrimage to Naju. That's why she said "I wish for no more miracles." In the meeting time with me, however, she thought 'I should be healed!' So she told me of her all sicknesses and pains. Then I touched and prayed over the sick parts of her body. She went back to her lodging after that. Next morning, she could not feel any pain on her body and was totally healed. She showed off the grace granted to her by Jesus and the Blessed Mother to her tour guide saying, "You know? My knees and other sicknesses were completely healed!"
One sister from Seoul felt so painful on her waist that she could not come to Naju. But, because she really wanted to come to Naju, she came with laying herself down thanks to her husband who prepared the mat for her in the Bus. She was also healed and ran up to my attic where I stayed saying, "I can walk now which I couldn’t previously!”
Brothers and sisters! Ask the Lord "Lord! I want to be healed here and there also" then the Lord will touch you and heal you. How wonderful it is, if we can work for the Lord and the Blessed Mother with healthy souls and bodies!
We should maintain the graces we’ve received.
The date of November 3rd in 2011 was on first Saturday of the month of that year. I implored the Lord, “Have mercy on every one of Your children who are gathered here so that they may not be like a broken jar that cannot hold water but may become reborn in the Holy Spirit.” At that moment, the Precious Blood gushed out of the Seven Wounds of the Lord and was poured upon all the pilgrims.
At that time, there was also an intense fragrance of roses and Streams of the water of mercy poured down behind us. We were overjoyed, because we saw that the Lord was giving us His Precious Blood in our presence as if to draw us forward, while the Blessed Mother was giving us streams of the water of mercy behind us as if to push us. We praised the Lord and the Blessed Mother.
I have seen a lot of miserable souls who believe the groundless rumors that are going around and turned away again from Naju, even though they were cured from death and received tremendous graces with thanks to Our Lady of Naju. So we should maintain the graces we received from the Lord and the Blessed Mother, and not being lukewarm after we received them. If at least, we, who say we know the Lord and the Blessed Mother, don’t speak ill of others or judge others through arming ourselves with the five spiritualities of Naju, and focusing our minds on making a new start again by acknowledging one’s fault immediately, we can always live a joyful life.
I worked in inlaying something with mother-of-pearl to support her brother-in-law to become a judge. One day, a man followed me like a shadow from the moment I went for shopping for mother-of-pearl scraps till the moment I came back home. Even though I said to him that I am married and had children, he followed me continuously and even to my husband’s home and waited for me until I came out of there.
One day, when I came out of my home with Julio, that same man was standing outside. So I told him, “This is my husband.” Then, Julio said to him, “Ah, you are most welcome. Because we are busy now, come and see us next time a drink and we shall drink together.” After that, he stayed away completely.
We should do everything with love. How happy I am because I have a husband who counts on his wife. My Husband, Julio is that kind of person. He offered me up 100% to the Lord and the Blessed Mother.
Dear everyone! The trust that we have faith in each other is very important. Once the trust is broken, it’s difficult to trust one another again. If we broke the trust, you should recover it before the Lord and the Blessed Mother, and we should do likewise to the person whom you broke trust with and could not gain recognition from. Let us feel that “We can go to right path. Thanks to the Lord and the Blessed Mother who have appeared in Naju.” and let us make a new start.
On November 4th, 2006 (1st Saturday), Jesus on the crucifix on Mt. Calvary was shedding tears. So I entreated to the Lord in order that we can maintain the graces that we received all along, “Jesus! How anxious the Lord must be to have poured down so much Precious Blood for the conversion of sinners and now even shedding tears! Please heal the body and soul of all those who gathered here, without any exception, so that they may repent, and manage well the graces you bestow upon us.” Then, Jesus said “how can I not be happy through your bleeding efforts, having responded to My Mother’s call with “Amen” with the transcendence of My Love with which I love even the most wicked sinners among you, drawing close to Me like this, and graciously offering up sacrifices and reparations and also through the prayers from children who joined you. That is why I am shedding the tears of joy.” Let’s totally open our hearts and run to Jesus and the Blessed Mother so that Jesus may shed tears of joy from now onwards, not of sorrow. Amen!
