The First Saturday overnight prayer meeting in Naju —  April 3, 2004

Praise be to Jesus and Mary!

"My dear children! I have called you as my instruments to give an eternal refuge to those souls who are thirsty and starving for love and are wandering around. Hold my hands more humbly and offer up your sacrifices and reparations, following me for the conversion of sinners.

When you renounce your ego and follow me completely by practicing my messages of love and by making my Immaculate Heart that is burning with love known to all the children in the world, you will experience pains. But your souls will be purified and made stronger, as gold becomes purified in fire. If you follow me in unity among yourselves, what you have lost in the world will turn into eternal joy by gaining me."

We hope that the above words of the Blessed Mother will be fulfilled as stated to all of you.

Around 1,200 pilgrims who love Our Lady of Naju including the ones from abroad visited the Blessed Mother's mountain and the Chapel in Naju for the First Saturday overnight prayer meeting on April 3, one day before Palm Sunday.

With the help of those who are making Naju known and the Internet homepage of Naju, the number of first-time visitors to Naju for the overnight prayer meetings are increasing.

“My Son Jesus and I, Who are listening to the sounds of your prayers filled with love and sincerity, are greatly consoled by the sacrifices and reparations that you offer up for the conversion of sinners.  Therefore, I intend to rescue from the chains of perishment all those who come to this place, by washing their souls and bodies with the fragrant oil that I gave you by squeezing my whole body, manifesting the burning love in my Immaculate Heart.” said the Blessed Mother.

That day, Our Blessed Mother exuded fragrant oil as a heavenly gift for all her children on earth and for all little souls who came to Naju to console Jesus and Mary and offered up prayers, sacrifices, and reparations for the conversion and salvation of sinners.

On April 3, 2004, around 6:30 a.m., the Blessed Mother exuded fragrant oil on the glass cover of the box that preserves the spot on the floor which gives off a sweet fragrance ever since the Holy Eucharist descended on August 27, 1997. The Chapel was filled with the fragrance of oil entirely so that everyone felt as if they were in the flower garden of Heaven full of roses.

On the Blessed Mother’s mountain in Naju, Our Lady exuded fragrant oil again at the same location that Jesus poured out His Precious Blood two times before (Jun 11, 2002 and Aug 15, 2002) by opening His Sacred Heart. The Lord has been giving us signs from Heaven continuously for 19 years since Our Lady’s first apparition in Naju. Therefore, we could not help but realize the high, deep and wide Love of Our Lord, which tells us that God loves this country and wishes that not even one soul among all the children in the world be abandoned and all be saved. Many pilgrims witnessed the fragrant oil and its strong fragrance and they praised and thanked Our Lord Jesus and Our Mother Mary with all their hearts.

Pilgrims, appreciating all the blessings received from the Lord and the Blessed Mother during the last month and praying that their hopes and expectations might be realized, offered up flowers and candles.

When pilgrims took the water of graces from the tap through which many spiritual and physical healings occur, they smelled the fragrance of roses. It looked like they were receiving not the water, but the fragrance itself. They praised and thanked the Lord and the Blessed Mother just like  innocent children and asked each other to smell the fragrance. They repeatedly prayed and exclaimed from the bottom of their hearts, saying "oh, unbelievable" and "praise and glory to Jesus and Blessed Mother."

When pilgrims drank the water of graces and washed themselves on the Blessed Mother's Mountain, they sang together "Precious Blood of Jesus, Precious Blood of Jesus, heal our souls and bodies, Amen", hoping for spiritual and physical healings and also the resurrection of our lives as Jesus said to us on Dec 8, 1999.

"I, Who created you in your mothers’ wombs and let you be born in the world, will invigorate your souls and bodies that have become arid. Therefore, do not have fear, but gather here all together and drink this water and wash yourselves with it."

At 3 p.m., pilgrims gathered together in front of the Way of the Cross on the Blessed Mother's Mountain. Many of them did the Stations of the Cross barefooted hoping to participate in the pains that Jesus suffered and believing that Jesus walked together with them like the following message from Jesus.

"This place is the Way of the Cross, which I personally walk shedding blood together with you.  Therefore, if all those who walk this Way of the Cross open the doors of their hearts widely, desire sincerely to be united with Me, and pray participating in the pains that I suffered, they will meet Me and receive spiritual and physical healings." 

Our Lord Jesus is still walking up Mt. Calvary shedding blood for the conversion and salvation of all children on earth as He did 2,000 years ago.

One helper who did the Stations of the Cross with Julia for one year said,

"When I try to estimate the immeasurable sufferings of Jesus from the pains Julia suffered on the Way of Cross, I feel that the pains Jesus suffered are even severer than those described in the well-known movie, the Passion of the Christ"

The pilgrims could not even imagine the sufferings of Jesus, but just appreciated the greatest love of Jesus to save all of us sinners. And they could just respect and feel sorry for the sacrifices of Julia who is participating with love in the immeasurable pains of Jesus and Mary.

From the message of love from the Blessed Mother, we can learn that Our Blessed Mother also walks up the Way of the Cross shedding tears together with Jesus.

"Remember that I listen attentively to the sounds of fervent prayers which you offer up at the Stations of the Cross on Calvary and that I accompany you, shedding tears of blood at the side of my Son Jesus."

Actually, the Lord’s Precious Blood, pieces of Flesh, thorns and hair were found along the Way of the Cross and there were little rocks covered with the tears of blood shed by the Blessed Mother. They were brought to the legal medical center of Seoul National University for testing. And the Precious Blood of Jesus on the stone was proven to be male and of blood type AB.

Along the Way of the Cross on the Blessed Mother's mountain, Our Lord Jesus and the Blessed Mother are leading us to the way of conversion and salvation continuously with the messages of love, the unprecedented miracles of the Precious Blood, and numerous signs.

For the souls who pray with all their hearts, meditating on the Passion of Jesus, the Lord and the Blessed Mother have promised as follows:

"I will let you grow spiritually through the sincere prayers that you offer earnestly with your whole heart on this Way of the Cross where I walk with my Son Jesus, bleeding with Him. The Lord will also bathe your souls and bodies with His Sacred Blood and give you the plenary indulgence. Rather, He promised to give it to you."

When the pilgrims gathered at the Blessed Mother's House, the overnight prayer meeting began at 8 p.m., led by Peter Kim from Daegu.

After offering up the prayers from the Catholic breviary, they offered up the rosary. Meditating on the Sorrowful Mysteries, pilgrims raised their hands as small sacrifices to participate even a little in  the sufferings of Jesus.

After offering up the rosary, there was a speech from Rufino Park.

In order to look back on our lives, examine ourselves, and share the Love of God revealed through the life of Julia Kim, Rufino talked about the blessings received from Jesus and the Blessed Mother while being with her and observing her life right beside her.

He said, "Jesus came to us to deliver the peace. And those who met Jesus are the very people who obtain the way of peace. We know one person who has met Jesus and has been a model and a guide. The Blessed Mother has made Julia stand in front of us and showed us many things using Julia as Her instrument. So, I think that people with eyes to see will see the light of the Heaven, receive the grace and become wise, and then believe that the Blessed Mother is with us". Then everybody responded loudly with Amen.

"Recently, I realized earnestly that it is quite a blessing that I can be with Julia. At first, I was not aware how many graces and blessings Julia was receiving from God. The reason why I was not aware for the last 20 years is just that I was a sinner staying too far away from Jesus and Mother Mary and that I was blind and deaf spiritually. Since my heart was hardened and sick, I was not able to feel the deep love of Jesus."

"I have noticed that Julia felt very, very painful in her soul and body because of the groundless rumors, disapprovals and disregards. She became an object of scoff and a laughingstock. Only to accomplish the mission given to her, she has had to endure all these things, lots of insults from opponents and objections from liars as if trees in winter must stand against the freezing cold winds.

Actually, the reason why Julia was grieved so much was not because she should be ignored and take the blame for false rumors, but because she could imagine that Jesus and the Blessed Mother would feel painful and the Hearts of Jesus and Mary would be torn apart. I do believe that it is quite a grace and blessing of Jesus that we still have Julia with us. Amen."

The Lord dressed Julia with the garments of fragrance, which we cannot see, but can smell. It is the mystery of love that God granted and the gift of grace that the Blessed Mother gave.

Rufino also said that it was Julia Kim who loves the Bible most among those whom he had ever known. And it was said that those who love the Bible like her, accept the words of God, and live as the Bible says would receive the power and the real life. So, he told us to walk the way to Heaven together by practicing the messages of Jesus and the Blessed Mother.

“Let’s follow the model of Julia not only with words, but also with all our lives by offering up all our souls and bodies. And also, let’s entrust all ourselves to Jesus for His Glory saying “I’m all yours Jesus, being alive or being dead. Glory only to Jesus.”

“Being painful, being pleasant, being sad, or being happy, Julia is offering up all little and trivial things by turning her life into prayers. Let’s follow her model and try to be the beloved sons and daughters of the Blessed Mother by living a life of repentance and give all glories, thanks and praises to Jesus.” he said. All replied with Amen very delightfully.

After the speech of Rufino, the volunteers prepared a coffee break. The pilgrims drank coffee and talked about love and blessings of the Blessed Mother. Some pilgrims were praying with their eyes closed and in tears deeply touched by the grace from heaven after smelling the fragrant oil.

When the second part of the overnight prayer meeting began, all pilgrims sang joyfully the hymns following the ladies who were dancing in the front. They offered up a prayer consecrating themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and meditated on the messages of Jesus and the Blessed Mother.

After singing, the pilgrims watched a video of the 1^st Sat. prayer meeting on April 5, 1997.

The following is the summary of Julia’s speech. (Note : On Apr 5, 1997, Julia could attend the prayer meeting. The negative declaration of the Kwanju Archdiocese has been made on Jan 1, 1998)

"How much have I done wrong until now? What have I done for Jesus until now? Haven’t we complained to Jesus without realizing the real value of love that Jesus gave to us?

At now, let’s reflect wholly on ourselves and offer up everything to Jesus.

Everything in the world is only a moment that passes by in a very short time. But the world after death is eternal.

The Blessed Mother said “I ask you to pray with me tonight, the time for transition from my Son’s Death to His Resurrection.”

All of you responded to Her words with “Amen” and came here to pray. Since you came here however hard it is, however painful you are, and however much it costs, the Blessed Mother is acquiring more graces for you from Jesus.

Our Lord Jesus is still willing to bestow His light upon us by opening His Seven Wounds(Five wounds, the wound on His forehead and His torn Heart) and to wash away the filthy stains of our souls and bodies and. Therefore, if we open our hearts, I believe that Jesus will come to us and take away all the bad things in us.

Jesus is still carrying the Cross for us sinners even at this moment, two thousand years afterwards. Still nailed to the Cross, Jesus is speaking to us loudly “Is there anyone who can lower me from the Cross?”

How can we take Jesus down from the Cross?

When we repent of all our sins, convert ourselves, and get back to Jesus, confessing in tears that we  are all sinners, we can lower Jesus from the Cross. However, there’s nobody who will take down Jesus from the Cross. So, let’s try and try to lower Jesus from the Cross.

Even if we cannot offer up reparations for the sins of our neighbors, we have to lower Jesus from the Cross by repenting of our own sins at least, making confessions with all our hearts and offering up reparations for our own sins.

The Scared Heart of Jesus is still being torn apart severely also today. Because of many sinners including me, the Sacred Heart of Jesus is being torn apart into pieces continuously.

Let’s sew up the torn Heart of Jesus. At least we, who know Jesus and Mary should sew up Their torn Hearts.

The way of sewing up the torn Heart of Jesus is to repent of all our sins, to ask for the mercy of Jesus, and to confess that we are sinners.

The way of sewing up the torn Heart of Jesus is to confess that we are sinners, to bow our heads and to wash the feet of Jesus with our tears and to pour the balm as ‘Mary Magdalene’ did for Jesus.

When we convert ourselves sincerely, we can sew up the torn Heart of Jesus, and also can apply fragrant balsam to His wounds.

Jesus said to us “Come to Me hurriedly through My Mother Mary, who is the shortcut to Me” and “Therefore, love Mary, My Mother, and follow her words. You must know that, loving and following her is loving and following Me."

So, we can live a very happy life if we follow the messages of the Blessed Mother, which is the very shortcut to Heaven.

The path we walk in our daily lives is so rough. All of you feel very tired and troublesome on this path, aren’t you?

But, we can walk that way happily if we follow the Blessed Mother. Even if it is so painful, we can offer up all our pains gracefully.

Of course, there can be faults and mistakes since we are just fragile human beings. Sometimes, we can say that it hurts when we feel pain and also can say “Why should I suffer all these pains?”

But what is important is just to make efforts.

When we make efforts, God loves us so much.
Our Lord Jesus does never expect great things from us.

When we offer up everything gracefully even though it seems very little and trivial, Jesus let us know how worthy and valuable all those offerings are. Therefore, we should follow Jesus by offering up wholly even the trifles.

The safe shortcut to Jesus is just to follow the Blessed Mother. The Blessed Mother told us “This is the perfect shortcut with no danger of slipping and falling off the cliff."

Jesus also said “My Mother came into this world as the Heavenly Prophetess” and “Follow the words of My Mother. There has never been a Saint who has not followed Her."

So, all the saints are those who love the Blessed Mother. We can also be saints if we follow the Blessed Mother perfectly. Let’s make a new beginning from today so that we all can be saints.

There are priests who love the Blessed Mother and walk a little person’s way of love. But let’s pray also for those who turn away from the Blessed Mother so that they can follow Her.

They can also take a wrong way sometimes if they don’t know much about the Blessed Mother and don’t understand the messages. And that’s also why we have to pray for them.

If we don’t offer up anything due to disappointment, devils at once permeate and try to throw us down. Let’s offer up everything without any disappointment today.

Since God loves us too much, He can make us perfect. But He let us make a mistake.

Do you know why God allows us to make mistakes?

It was told that even mistakes were allowed so that we may be humble.

The Blessed Mother said, “I can make you perfect. But I allow your mistakes to let you become humble."

So, if we follow Jesus and the Blessed Mother offering up our mistakes without any hesitation and disappointment, we can triumph over devils. And Jesus and the Blessed Mother will also be very, very pleased.

What do we have to do to sincerely return the love of Jesus and the Blessed Mother?

We all should turn our lives into prayers in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. If you have not practiced it until now, please start it right now.

Jesus and the Blessed Mother do not blame us for the mistakes, but rather tell us like this.

“If even the most wicked sinners open widely the doors of their hearts, repent, approach (the Lord and me) as sinners, and ask for forgiveness, they will not be asked questions about their past but will be blessed."

So, it is not late. And let’s start practicing the devotion of turning our lives into prayers right now.
And I will also make a new start with all of you at this moment.

Do you know how beautiful it is to turn our lives into prayers? We haven’t done it, not because we are short of time for it, but because we did not know how. So, if we start right now, it will be ok

We can pray continuously from the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep. But since we do not know well, there are some times when we don’t pray.

So, please don’t get disappointed even when we forget to pray. Instead, make a new start, thinking always like this “Ok. I’ll start it again at this moment." In each moment, we can make a new start.

When we remove weeds, do not just pull out the weeds. Instead, let’s remove them, praying like this “Jesus, pull out all the useless spiritual weeds in our souls."

It was said that the root of our pride never spreads out only to ourselves, but also to our neighbors.

That’s why we have to remove the root of pride from us.

When we get rid of stones, we can pray like this “Lord, please remove all the evil habits from our souls”. We have to turn our whole lives into prayers.

Sometimes, we forget to practice the devotion of turning our lives into prayers and then say “Ah, I forgot to practicing the devotion of turning my life into prayers” after getting back from the restroom, or after trimming nails and toenails.

But it is quite ok to pray at that time when you realize.

Just never be disappointed since we can start again from that moment.

There is a hope if we meditate on the words of Jesus and listen to the messages of the Blessed Mother, however wicked sinners we may have been.

Jesus and Mary are telling us “I will open widely the gate of My Sacred Heart and let them enter, if they repent, however wicked sinners they may have been. I love you even when you make mistakes by misusing your free will."

So, if we repent of our sins right away when we commit sins, Our Lord forgives us very, very delightfully since He loves us very, very much.

Let’s meet Our Lord as sinners, reflecting deeply on whether we have lived our lives that the Lord and the Blessed Mother expect from us or not.

If we confess that we are sinners, Lord will come to us to forgive us.
It’s because our Lord never comes to call the right, but to call sinners.

How much have I done wrong? How much have I loved my husband? How much have I loved my wife? Haven’t I persecuted anybody while telling that I love them?

Love is just to remove the burden of others.

Haven’t I distressed my wife or husband with a groundless suspicion while telling I love you?
How well have I served my mother-in-law while telling I love her?

How really have I loved my daughter-in-law and how many troubles were there while telling I love her? How much have I loved my parents?

How much have I loved my children? If we ask for forgiveness of all our faults and sins, Lord will have mercy on us.”

After the speech, when Julia was singing a sorrowful spiritual “Here I, a miserable sinner, come before the Lord” at the chapel, it comes to be the sea of lamentation by the burst of painful feelings, wounds, and heartburning hidden in the deep hearts, and they yelled in tears, saying ‘Lord, forgive me! Lord, forgive me!’ from the repentance of sins that pierced the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary with the thorns and nails of numerous sins.

Since Jesus and the Blessed Mother bestow the light of the Sacred Heart and the light of mercy upon them, their hardened hearts became widely open and they could receive the grace of repentance and conversion.

Julia suffered extreme pains as sacrifices and reparations so that our spiritual and physical healings could occur.

We believe that through Julia’ suffering of extreme pains all those pilgrims who had physical diseases, spiritual hurts and the pains hidden for years deep in the souls received the grace of healing and were filled with joy, love and peace. We are sure that when they return home, they will live a life of resurrection with a new courage and hope, turning every moment of their lives into prayers gracefully in the face of difficulties.

After this session called “the Hour of Mercy”, we had a time to share the blessings that we had received from Jesus and the Blessed Mother of Naju.

We do believe that Jesus will bestow upon us greater and more abundant graces in the First Saturday Overnight Prayer Meeting of May, the Month of the Blessed Mother.

“Therefore, my children who have been called because I love you extremely!

I wish that at least you, who are supposed to know the Lord and me, win victory over the devil, who distracts your minds, perpetuate the Paschal Mystery of the Last Supper and the Paschal Mystery of Resurrection, remain awake and pray by turning your life at every moment into prayers, display the power of love more vigorously, and offer up your total loyalty in heroic ways so that all may be saved, and thus gain Heaven.

Now, receive the encouragement, consolation, and blessing of love from the Lord Who has become your real father together with the blessing from me who is your real mother and thus enjoy exultation, love and peace.”

We sincerely hope that the words of the Blessed Mother in the above will be fulfilled as stated to all of you.
