Pilgrims are doing the Stations of the Cross, offering up the heavy rain as sacrifices and penance. They prayed for the rain to stop when they began the Stations of the Cross.

When they reached the 14th Station, the sun appeared through the dark clouds. Many cried aloud, looking at the miracle of the sun. Some pilgrims saw Jesus and Mary appear in and around the sun and others witnessed the descent of the sun towards them in the image of the Holy Eucharist. Also, some witnessed Our Lady embracing the Infant Jesus. After this miracle, the rain stopped completely. All pilgrims were happy that the Lord heard their prayers for the stop of the rain.
