Praise Jesus! Praise the Blessed Mother! I heard that a typhoon named Lingling would be hitting Naju forcefully, so, in the last three days, I have been monitoring it by computer, and eventually it was heading towards Naju. ‘Jesus, please let it pass the other way and make it disappear.’
Someone said they want it to go to Abe’s living room… (Abe is the Prime Minister of Japan) I never hate the Japanese no matter what. We all have to love everyone. (Amen!) Although they did wrong in the old days, or they are still doing wrong nowadays, it’s not humans that we have to defeat, but demons and Satan. (Amen!) So, we should pray always and win over every enemy with love. (Amen!)
So, I kept praying. The Blessed Mother asked us to observe ‘the First Saturday Vigil’. Therefore, I kept praying to Jesus. Yesterday, I prayed, ‘Jesus, even though I suffer pains, do not let typhoon Lingling come here to Naju. A typhoon is a natural disaster, Lord, you can do this! Please say one word.’
At dawn, I even offered up my pain. Since 1991, I started to receive invitations to the Philippines. Today, we have 15 pilgrims from the Philippines. Annie Lukban who had invited me to the Philippines at the time is also here with us today. In 1995, Atty. Nordy Diploma invited me there.
I attended some conferences in Manila, and, I delivered the Messages of the Blessed Mother of Naju several times after the Masses. There is an island called Bacolod, where we were scheduled to go. At that time, there was also a typhoon occurring. So I prayed this too, ‘Today, show us the miracle again which You showed us at the time!’ (Amen!)
When the typhoon was coming to Naju after passing through Mokpo, they said it would get stronger. What if anything happens to the pilgrims who are coming to Naju? Actually they are already martyrs who are persecuted. They shouldn’t encounter any accidents on their way here. So, I prayed, ‘It must not happen!’ I know most of you, who are here now, would be coming no matter how bad the typhoon is. (Amen!)
I was afraid of an accident on your way here, so I prayed that the typhoon wouldn’t come. Today the weather was so good in the Blessed Mother’s Mountain in Naju. It wasn’t windy, and there was a light cool breeze. The sky was clear and blue. It was so nice.
I prayed at dawn, ‘It would be great if typhoon Lingling died out. Lord, please protect this place where Our Lord and the Blessed Mother reside and keep the pilgrims from any harm, so that not a single soul of your children who are coming here may be injured either a finger or a toe.’ I reminded Him of that typhoon that happened in the Philippines, praying, ‘Please protect them from any harm as You did at that time.’ I have lots of similar episodes
with me.
That was my first experience of a typhoon. So, I kept praying that way. Shall I tell you what happened in island Bacolod? (Yes!) Yes, there was a Marian Conference in Bacolod.
When I went to Manila, Philippines, many cancer and incurable diseases were cured, so the organizers arranged a place where I could take a rest. Oh, I told them that I wouldn’t go there. But they said, “Oh, you have to take a rest before working. Even Jesus took a rest.” I said that I am okay since I’m not Jesus, but they persisted I go take a rest as they already made a reservation for me. So, I went there in obedience.
So, I took a rest in the bungalow there, but I couldn’t sleep at all. I was sitting up praying all night and at 6 a.m. the next morning, I went out to the beach. I am unable to go out these days, but at that time, there was nothing I was afraid of, saying ‘Lord, for You are with me, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of darkness, I have no fear nor scared.’
I prayed at the beach, ‘How good would it be if the hearts of the children all over the world became as wide as this ocean? Let the sea water be turned into the Precious Blood from Your Five Wounds, Your Wounds caused by the Crown of thorns and Your burning Sacred Heart. Make the sea water become Our Lord’s Precious Blood pouring down, unsparing even a drop of Water and Blood on the Cross, so that It washes away the sins of all the children in the world.
Lord, grant them the grace of healing they need.’ When I was praying like this, at around 6:10 a.m., a double-rainbow appeared in the sky!
I had never seen it before, nor have I ever heard of such a phenomenon. Normally, the rainbow appears when the morning sun rises or it’s about to rain. It is already nice to see one rainbow, but it was two rainbows at the same time! ‘Oh, Jesus, thank you! How many blessings are you going to give us today by showing not just one rainbow, but a double-rainbow?’ I accepted the rainbow as the Ark of the Covenant which is the string linking heaven to earth,
and as a sign that Jesus is with us and will be with us always. So I rejoiced greatly and praised God.
However, in that morning when I was supposed to go to Bacolod, there was a typhoon approaching. And, all the planes and ships were stalled and we couldn’t go to the place of the conference. But I said, “I have to go. Definitely, I must go.” At the time, we were there together with Father Jerry Orbos and the other companions. They said, “We can’t. Not at all.” Fr. Jerry also said so, and others said “Even planes and ships were all canceled. There is
no way for us to get there.”
“I have to go though.” They might say I was very stubborn even though they didn’t speak out. I’m the kind of person who thinks I have to push through with whatever we have to do for the Lord. “A lot of people were waiting for the conference and spent a year for preparation beforehand in Bacolod. And there were so many people, from many remote regions, who were already gathered there and waiting for us to be there. What if I can’t participate in the
conference? I have to go. I’ll go even if I go alone.”
But I couldn’t go alone because it could only be reached by ship, not by a car. What could we do as all the ships were canceled at the harbor? Even so, I insisted on going. But there was a very strong gale wind. It was extremely stormy.
At the time, it was so dangerous that even big ships were stalled at the harbor. I came to know We took a small boat across the sea. I didn’t think about it fully at the time. I’ve heard about it when the lady and the priest, who were with me at the time, visited Naju lately. She said it was a small boat. How dangerous it was. We took a small boat out because big ships refused to set sail. I insisted on going. Now that I think about it, how absurd was it?
How scared they must have been on that small boat!
Everyone didn’t talk, but I saw them trembling with fear. So, I told them to go down to the cabin. The ship was small, so the cabin was also small. So, they, including the priest, went down into the cabin. I prayed, “Lord! Thank you! (Julia stood with all her efforts and pilgrims are clapping.) Thank you for letting me go by boat like this! I am sure that You will lead this boat safely!” (Amen!) With my eyes closed, holding up my extended hands, I prayed
in tongue until we arrived.
It rained a lot and the wind was strong. They thought if anything happened to me, they would be responsible for it. So they sent two of the best swimmers in the Philippines. That was because if anything would happen to me in the middle of ocean, they wouldn’t be able to bring me to land safely alone. That’s why they arranged two of the best swimmers for me.
I closed my eyes and kept praying all the way. With a big cheering sound, I opened my eyes, and finally I realized that we arrived. (Amen!) (Applause) The people in the cabin came up cheering and rejoicing. The people who waited for us were dancing and cheering also. At first, I didn’t know why they were so happy.
Having heard that I was coming from the island, they got so worried. ‘How foolhardy lady she is!’ They could even think that way. “How could she ever get here through such a danger?” Nevertheless, having heard that I was coming from the island, they continued to pray looking toward direction of where our boat would arrive.
Then they saw a LIGHT on the sea. The light was coming down. The whole sea was covered in pitch black. But God brightly shone onto where our boat was. (Amen!) (Applause)
So, He led us to a safe arrival. (Amen!) By watching this, the one who was in the family of the third generation Protestant pastors, converted to Catholic. (Amen!) There were such great graces. So, dear pilgrims, we have nothing to fear. (Amen!) If you do not fear but go forward with complete trust, then the Lord will take over. (Amen!)
While going across the sea, I prayed for the sake of the spiritual and physical health of the attendees, “Even though the rain is pouring down like a waterfall, and each time a drop of rain falls, please turn it into the Precious Blood of Jesus and the Blessed Mother’s Tears, Tears of Blood, Fragrant Oil and thick Mother’s Milk, from which, every attendee may be spiritually and physically healed today, wash and clean them with It and break through what
has been clogged in them. (Amen!)
I heard the testimony by Mrs. Claudia from Suwon. Every testimony was good today, wasn’t it? (Yes!) It was very nice. How happy she is. How serious it was that her husband had cancer with 8.5 centimeters in the late 3rd stage of liver cancer! It’s not a viable situation. But like her case, let us all live happily offering up ‘Turning our daily lives into Prayers’ and practice the Five Spiritualities. (Amen!)
She said her husband tore up the book of Messages many times. If it happened to other people, they could say, “Okay, then go for a divorce.” But when you offer up everything graciously by ‘Turning our daily lives into Prayers the prayers’ and ‘the Five Spiritualities’, and also ‘It’s My Fault’, good results come forth. (Amen!) What we need ultimately is ‘Heaven’. Now, we don’t know how many years are left in our lives. Indeed, we have to make
a new start, like being born anew. (Amen!)
September is the month of martyrs’. I’d like to call you martyrs. The martyrs of the past, what did they actually do? They were so amazing. (Compared to martyrs,) Some people will not come to Naju after only a little objection from others. I am not mentioning about you here now.
Now the world is wicked. Even the prelates, they have eyes yet can’t see, and ears yet can’t hear. What is it that they can’t see and hear? They are unable to neither see nor hear spiritually. But they can see and hear the worldly things.
So we should pray for the clergy. I’m so sorry to say that there are so many things that happened frequently. But we, as the descendants of martyrs, have to live a life of martyrdom. (Amen!) What is the life of martyrdom for us to live? It’s the martyrdom of our daily lives. It’s the martyrdom of our daily lives that we go through.
In the old days, saints and martyrs laid down their lives. Even though their bodies were torn apart, they didn’t deny their religion. As well as the Christ’s twelve apostles, how many other unknown saints and unknown martyrs would be there?
St. Lawrence was martyred, by being laid on the gridiron and roasted on it. He sold everything to help the poor. The Romans asked him to, “Offer up everything to the emperor!” He asked the official to wait for three days. Then, he sold everything he possessed and helped the poor. And, he died a martyr’s death and went up to heaven.
The worldly things are just a momentary temporal. But since the afterlife is eternal, we must pursue eternity in the afterlife. (Amen!) Even if you can’t see it yourself clearly, if you read carefully and practice the Messages of Love from the Lord and the Blessed Mother of Naju, you can follow the way. (Amen!)
As for St. Catherine in Alexandria, the king said he would have taken her as his queen consort if she had given up everything (including her religion). But she turned down all the king offered, and she died as a martyr. During her martyrdom, the people and soldiers who watched were so moved that afterward 200 people converted to Catholicism.
For the people who indulged themselves into the secular world, how moved they must have been by the sight of the St. Catherine to convert themselves! St. Catherine was beaten for two hours but she offered up all her suffering joyfully. Once seeing this, the people were so moved. This is how 200 people were able to convert themselves. And then St. Catherine was beheaded to her death. They’re blessed. It is not all recorded, but they’re blessed.
The king was so angry at the sight that he ordered St. Catherine to be beheaded. The saints all offered it up so happily. St. Catherine was beheaded and bled. They put a towel on her body.
Logically the towel should be stained by the blood, right? (Yes.) However, it was stained not with blood but with breast Milk. That’s how the Blessed Mother gave Her Milk. And, St. Paul Jeong Ha-sang and his family were also beheaded. There were so many martyred saints back in the old days.
I told you about Emperor Nero the other day, didn’t I? Emperor Nero, who had everything, eventually killed himself. He killed his mother, his half-brother, and his wife. He killed many of his officials too. But he still couldn’t be satisfied with anything.
There was so much splendor in his palace that most humans can’t fathom. It was beyond the human capacity to possess the kinds of things he did. He even had silver hooves for his donkey, too. And do you know about silver hooves? Silver wears off quickly. If you want a donkey to wear silver hooves, you would have to make new ones every day. He also had a golden fishing rod and hook. Yet living in such a way is nothing in the afterlife.
So what would be useful if he goes to hell? Don’t you see? Dear Pilgrims, you are blessed children. In the old days, martyrdom was like this. Some people were covered by their clothes like this, and dogs would tear them to pieces. Some were devoured by lions. They even starved predators so that they would devour those martyrs viciously. Others were burnt to death. If they weren’t burning, they poured oil over them. They lit up the place by burning bodies.
Nobody knows when we are going to the Lord. I mean that we should not struggle for money by fighting with one another. What do you think? Isn’t that correct? (Yes!) With love, love alone can conquer everything. (Amen!) All devils would succumb before love. Let us win with love. (Amen!)
Faith can move mountains, but pride can destroy the whole world. But, what about love? Love can lift up the whole world. Let’s arm ourselves with love. Jesus has allowed us free will, so He won’t do anything with our free will that He has given us. But, don’t ever forget that He is always with us. (Amen!)
On this first Saturday my suffering was so intense that I thought ‘What if I can’t join the prayer meeting? Jesus, I must go. Even if I have to suffer again after coming back, please allow me to join the meeting for the pilgrims.’ Before I came here, I had enormous pain on the sole of my feet that I couldn’t even take a step. So I stepped out like this while I was leaving my house. But now, I am standing like this. (Clapping) How could I do this? Because
I love you.
We have to live by practicing the Five Spiritualities every day and at every moment. Don’t neglect anything in your lives. When you work on something, and if you think, ‘I just do the same amount as others do’, ‘I am working diligently, but he’s only trying with idle excuses. How an annoyance!’ Then all the merit you’ve treasured up in heaven will collapse, won’t it?
‘There must be a reason for his idling. Yes, then let me do more for him out of love.’ By that way, you can turn it into love. Even when you poop, when you fart, you can pray for him. It matters to people that a farting sound could be loud and smells bad. But if it smells bad, you can pray for him more. ‘Oh, Jesus, thank you. Please remove completely all our evil smelling habits away from our souls!’ (Amen!) How good this prayer is!
As you’ve already heard the testimony by one pilgrim, if you start to feel joyful in practicing turning our daily lives into Prayer, you will really love it. Only the one, who has experienced it, knows best. On August 4, 1990, I was on my way back home from downtown. Oh, August 4th is a peak time in summer, isn’t it? (Yes, it is!) I saw an old and dirty man walking on the street wearing winter clothes and winter shoes. It was nice for me to have encountered
him, “Oh, I have a little Jesus here!” I used to call the homeless as ‘Little Jesus’.
So I called him, “Grandpa.” And I grabbed his hand. He was startled. So I said, “I’d like to help you.” When I grabbed his hand, he tried to back down his hand. So, I said, “You’re hungry, aren’t you? I’m trying to help you.” I brought him to a stew restaurant. There was a restaurant that I visited frequently. There were also other restaurants in that town. But, if I took the homeless there, even though I paid more and sterilized the utensils after
eating, they would still reject us.
So, we could go to only one restaurant in the market. I said, “Excuse us. I will feed him outside. And I will clean up the bowl and wash it with hot water. Let him have a bowl of stew.” The owner replied, “Of course, what a nice young lady you are, doing such good deeds.” She cooked the stew for him. So, whenever I see ‘Little Jesus’, I brought him to that restaurant. Not like other restaurants, the restaurant served the stew with plenty of meat in
the bowl. The old man ate all of it.
As he couldn’t even move his body well, I fed him with a spoon, bit by bit. At first, he was close to tears, and then later, he burst into tears, “I didn’t expect to see such kindness. Now I know there is such a good person like you.” And he cried a lot.
After feeding him with stew, I brought him to shop for his clothes as I did always. So I went to the clothing store and bought some clothing for him, from underwear to outer garments, and came home. Nowadays we can use hot water conveniently, but not at that time. While boiling the water for his bath, I took him to the Blessed Mother.
I took him to the Blessed Mother for veneration. To bring him into the Chapel, I said, “Let’s take off your shoes.” But he said he wouldn’t want to take them off. So, I said, “It’s okay. Let’s greet the Blessed Mother.” When I took his shoes off for him, I noticed that the socks, shoes, and his feet were stuck together.
Anyway, after getting the shoes off somehow, I brought him to the Blessed Mother. It was so happy for me to have him, the Little Jesus to the extent that I couldn’t realize what he smelled like because I just loved him. And, after greeting the Blessed Mother, I said to him, “Now let’s go for a bath.” When we were stepping out of the room, I saw everyone covering their nose and running out. So, I bathed him with warm water. While bathing him, he started
telling about his stories.
He was taken to the forced labor camp, but he became very sick there. Since he was ill, they put a nametag on his back. And, he was sent back home. When he came back, it was under communist occupation, and he found that neither his house nor the families were there. He said, ever since then, he had never taken off his clothes or shoes. As I didn’t realize that he was Jesus, I just thought it could be.
After bathing him, I clothed him. Nowadays the care workers bathe the patients. But, in the old days, a woman seldom bathed a man. When people saw I was bathing a man, they said, “How can you wash a man, and even washing underneath part?” I replied, “What’s wrong? Your fingers are exposed. If your fingers were hidden underneath clothing, it is a hidden body part. It’s just like a finger.” Then they said, “You are really great!”
But, oh my, when I washed him with a bath towel, his skin was about to tear off. The weakest point was his underneath part. As it was stuck with the clothing, his skin became worn down. So I washed that part very gently. I had to have him stand to wash him. By that way, I was able to wash him properly. The skin was stuck with feces. So you had to soak it in warm water before wiping it off. Otherwise, I would hurt his skin.
So, I first made him sit in warm water for soaking, then I stood him up and washed him. To my surprise, he peed at me when I was washing him standing. Experience it yourself. Well, no chance at all nowadays. But I was so happy, because I did it assuming he is Jesus by Semchigo. Even getting peed into my mouth, I was still happy. Dear pilgrims, if you do this for others assuming he is Jesus, or she is the Blessed Mother, it’s never dirty.
Seeing people lower than us, we often disrespect them. But, seeing the president or Pope, how would we react? We’re all the same human beings. No matter if he is a beggar or a homeless, it doesn’t matter. In Jesus’ love, we are all same. So, the most important thing is, we must be humbler and wash the feet of others. We must be the ones who serve others.
I serve the Pope, but would rather serve the Little Jesus more. Serving out of my sincere love. I was so happy. I’m so delighted. As Claudia testified just before, how happy she is when she practices Turning her life into Prayers. She said she was so happy. We should offer up Turning our daily lives into Prayers joyfully like her. Otherwise, you could be distracted easily.
If you accept everything as ‘It’s My Fault’ and ‘Offer it all Up’, you will not be distracted. Then, even if you are cursed and get slapped by someone, you would be able to think ‘Yes, I deserved to be slapped, and I got slapped.’ You might think you did not do anything wrong, you know, people don’t think they do anything wrong because they are living with self-centered mind. I am not talking about you here. Anyway, there must be a certain reason
(if somebody blames you).
Let me go back to the old man’s story. So, after I dressed him up, we went inside. I saw that others were all staying outside. And someone, until then, was covering his nose. I didn’t notice why they were doing that and I went inside before the Blessed Mother’s statue. The Chapel was filled with an awful smell. Someone said, “Look at the floor.” I saw it. Before that, I didn’t even realize that his feet were so dirty that it stained the Chapel floor
so badly because I loved him so much, so I just brought him in hugging and took him out again without realizing it.
When I saw it, oh my! You know how asphalt is like. The floor was dirtied with black footprints like asphalt. Right from the outside to the front, and from here to all the way out there was stained. It couldn’t be wiped off easily. Nowadays we have various chemicals for cleaning. But, not so in the old days. I got down on my knees and just kept on wiping it. Then, Rufinus just couldn’t stand still watching me and came in to help me. So, we wiped the floor
together.
After we completed wiping it out, we could then smell the Fragrance. Rufinus told me, “Oh, Julia, I’m sorry. Now I realize it’s important whom I meet. When you were not here, they complained, ‘Why should she take him to greet the Blessed Mother at the front? She could do it at the back. She stained the floor with asphalt!’ I agreed with them too. I’m so sorry. It’s so nice since I practiced love for others together with you.”
And, while I was wiping it off, I was praying, “Jesus, thank you. You wiped away so cleanly such dirty things in pitch darkness like this!”
Though our souls and bodies are dirty, Our Lord Jesus Who turns our sins that are like scarlet into white as snow, please clean our sins like this!” Seeing that I was wiping with prayer, Rufinus also cheered himself up and wiped it so actively. Rufinus! Why don’t you come up and tell us about the situation?
Rufinus : At first, I was standing outside because I had inclination that others were talking about it, and it smelled so bad. So I didn’t go in. Julia was wiping it. But I couldn’t just remain there, so I also went in reluctantly.
I went in and started cleaning it. At first, it smelled so bad, but when I heard from Julia and wiped the stain off diligently, I didn’t smell it anymore. The black stain didn’t go away at first. We had to keep wiping to remove the stain. As we continued, we did better. The dirt was gone very easily.
Who you’re next to, who you’re meeting, and how you’re meeting them. I think it’s very important. Thanks for being able to meet Julia, I felt the Love of Jesus. The Fragrance was prevailed in the Chapel. It’s important whom we’re meeting. And, it’s a blessing and a grace for us to meet her(Julia Kim) here today. Let us follow Mama Julia by arming ourselves with the Five Spiritualities and practice ‘Turning our daily lives into Prayers’, and let us
all enjoy heaven! (Amen!) Thank you.
It didn’t go away at all at first. So, I got down on my knees and wiped it away by practicing ‘Turning our lives into Prayers’. Seeing that I practice it so joyfully, Rufinus also became excited and began enjoying it. “Oh! I see! It’s real fun.” Doing it with joy, we could clean it off well. So I wiped it off quickly while offering it up in prayers, and after that, the Fragrance started to pass by us, and later, the Scent of roses was overwhelming.
I went out of the Chapel and called, “Grandpa~” But, he was nowhere to be found. Gone. I looked for him everywhere, but he wasn’t found. At the time, I didn’t realize he was Jesus.
Such things did happen many times. I looked for him here and there, but I couldn’t find him. So, I prayed to Jesus, offering him up to Him, ‘Please lead the poor man.’ Jesus replied, “My beloved daughter, you love your poor neighbor like yourself and have taken care of him. Yes, I’ll grant your wish.” He said so. At that moment, the Scent that I had never experienced passed me by.
But now that I think about it, he was formerly taken to the forced labor camp and it must have been decades before, although I didn’t count the years. So, it was impossible for the stains to be wiped away that easily. It’s a miracle of love. If we make efforts and lay down our very beings by practicing the Five Spiritualities, we can do anything.
We don’t know if we’ll die today, or tomorrow. Or, we may live up to 100 years. We never know it. So, what do we have to do to fill the rest of our life with joy, love, and peace? (The Five Spiritualities~) It is by arming ourselves with the Five Spiritualities and practicing it, thus let us enjoy exultation, love, and peace. Then it’s heaven for us. We should enjoy heaven not only after death but also in this world here and now. (Amen!) Amen! (Amen!)
Time flies. Let’s meditate on the Messages of Love.
Now, let us deeply meditate on the Messages from the Lord and the Blessed Mother given to you today.
This is the Message of Love from Jesus on September 8, 2001.
“My beloved children!
I am comforted by your sacrifices and reparations filled with love. When you follow me in greater solidarity and unity in the Holy Trinity, I, who allowed your meeting, will perform miracles of love, and you will enjoy Heaven together with me and my Mother in the joy of being in harmony with the Saints at every moment, even when it appears that (everything) has failed and is hopeless.” Amen! (Amen!)
This is the Message of Love from the Blessed Mother on September 2, 2006.
“My beloved children!
In order for God, Who listens attentively to the sounds of prayers that are combined with sacrifices, penances, and gracious offerings by little souls gathered with their hearts filled with unrestricted love and devotion to bestow the cup of blessing instead of the cup of wrath, if more children gather and pray with their hearts widely open and in all sincerity, He will send down boundless love and blessing instead of chastisement that
He is to send down.” Amen! (Amen!)
I hope that the Messages of Love from Jesus and the Blessed Mother will come true for all of you as declared. (Amen!) Amen! (Amen!) Put your hands on your chests and entrust to Him all the pains inside us; the pain in our body, the pain in our souls, and if there is any burden on us, let’s carry that heavy burden and go under the Cross of Jesus.
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are burdened, and I will give you rest.” If we entrust ourselves entirely to Jesus and carry on with trust and faith in Him, God will love us and Jesus will embrace us in His Arms, and in the Blessed Mother’s Bosom. (Amen!)
In Genesis Chapter 5 and Hebrews Chapter 11, there was a man named Enoch who lived in the world for 365 years with God and God took him up to heaven. And, in 2 Kings, Elijah and Elisha were walked on conversing, and suddenly Elijah went up into heaven. I saw it myself. It’s so vivid to me.
Although we can’t ascend into heaven as they did, by practicing the Five Spiritualities, we can enjoy eternal happiness in heaven escorted by the angels on the last day.
If we try to save our own lives, we will lose them; if we forsake our lives completely and work for the sake of the Lord, the Lord will save us and allow us to enjoy eternal happiness in heaven on the last day. Though we can’t follow in the spirit of martyrs as they did; though we can’t lay our heads down (to be beheaded), we can offer up ourselves completely through martyrdom in our daily lives.
We can offer up everything joyfully if only we arm ourselves with the Five Spiritualities. Let us lay ourselves down by practicing the Five Spiritualities so that we can enjoy exultation, love and peace every day and every moment of our lives. If we arm ourselves with the Five Spiritualities, we can happily offer ourselves up. Through the Five Spiritualities, let us entrust our being to the Lord so that all of us can enjoy joy, love, and peace at every moment.
If I lay down my life, then others would also lay down their lives. Let us not expect others to change but make a strenuous effort to change ourselves first. Many people try to take the splinter out of the other’s eyes without perceiving the wooden beam in his own because he couldn’t perceive the wooden beam in his own eyes. What a poor soul he is!
If we practice and offer up even one thing for the Lord, we can pile up a lot of treasures in heaven. But if the merits we have accumulated collapse (because of our sins), how many years would we have lived in vain? Let us make a new start with a firm belief. (Amen!)
We’re unworthy sinners. How dare we call the Lord Our Father? But, we know that despite appearance and sin, Our Father, also Mother, will never give up nor abandon us, and will wait for the child to return through repentance while stretching out His Arms. Even though you have made many mistakes and wrongdoings that broke the Hearts of the Lord and the Blessed Mother, let’s stand up again like a roly-poly toy and go forward to the Lord and the Blessed Mother.
Jesus, for the rest of our lives, let us follow the Lord and the Blessed Mother and practice the Five Spiritualties completely to fill up the deep abyss that lies between Your greatness and our trivialities. Help us be awake and perform the miracles of love through us. To the Lord be glory, to the Blessed Mother be comfort, and let us live a life of thanksgiving unceasingly.
Lord, You know all the sorrows of this sinner
Lord, wipe off my past painful wounds with Your Precious Blood
Embrace me, a sinner who is wandering
You are the only one for me to rely on
‘I’m lonely. And I’m sad.’ This is sinner who had been grumbling
I have found joy by practicing ‘the Five Spiritualities’
My soul was sick with bitterness and wounded by those whom I love
‘The Five Spiritualities’ is the only rest for me
This sinner who wanders in agony and conflict
Accepting everything as ‘My Fault’, I was able to offer it up
With ‘Semchigo’ and ‘Amen’, ‘Turning my daily life into Prayers’
I will be healed through repentance,
and arm myself with ‘the Five Spiritualities’
I will go to heaven with ‘the Five Spiritualities’ Amen!
