From March 24th to March 25th in 1990, there was Marian conference held in Pittsburgh, USA. There were eight speakers including a bishop. Six of them gave speeches on the 24th, and then a man from Russia and myself on the 25th.

There were about 100 clergies including bishops, and 200 nuns and 7,000 laities were present then.

I arrived at the venue at 7:40 a.m. on the 25th. It was said that as soon as I arrived, the sun moved up and danced, showing various forms, while the whole area became filled with the Fragrance of roses.

I started the speech at 8:00 a.m. For other speakers, they were allotted one hour for their speech including five decades of the rosary in their native language.

So they prayed five decades of the rosary in their own languages and delivered messages, which meant their speech time was only about 40-45 min. However, I was told to speak as much as I wished.

Unintentionally, my speech went on for three and a half hours!
When I delivered the messages, wow, almost everyone stood up without exception. This made me think immediately, ‘Did I do something wrong?’ Everyone applauded and it was the first time I experienced a standing ovation. That day, there were more than 10 standing ovations.

They said that it was the first time anyone received more than 10 standing ovations. And when the conference was over, they said, “The others were all extras. ‘Our Lady of Naju’ was the Star of this conference.” After my speech, I was in continuous interviews from 12:00 to 3:00.

When praying the rosary, those Koreans living in USA were so joyful to pray in the Korean language, thus they were praying loudly in unison.

In the restroom, they were asked, “Are you Korean?” “Yes!” And they were loved by people! When the Japanese were asked, “Are you Korean?” “No, from Japan.” Then, people just moved on.

So they said, “We could hold our heads high for the first time since living in the USA.”

While I was delivering messages, people kept lining up before the confessional, and 50 young men expressed their intentions to become priests.

For a few days, the big broadcasting stations and famous newspapers kept making headlines on Our Lady of Naju.

Then I received a call from Washington, D.C. for a meeting with the USA President on April 6, and to meet his secretaries and closest aides, who even share meals with the President on April 5. They asked me, “Please give us a seminar for about an hour.” So I went there (the White House) and delivered messages.

They loved it and said, “Please hasten to translate the ‘Messages of Love from Our Lady of Naju’ into English, then we will keep copies in the White House so that many people can read it.” They promised it. All of these are what the Lord has done. Amen!
