Julia Kim's testimony

during the first Saturday night vigil

 Excerpts from Julia's testimony during the Holy Triduum on April 23 .

This is a story of when I was invited by someone in Bacolod city, Philippines. The sponsors prepared our accommodation which was a bungalow by the  beach with an ocean view situated on a tiny island. It was very beautiful. The sponsors were anticipating  that the next day many  people will be healed by my prayers.

However, I could not sleep the night before thinking of the graces that will be received by those children who intended to gather tomorrow by responding with "Amen" to the calling of the Lord and the Blessed Mother.

Early in the morning, I saw a twin rainbow in the sky while I was sitting on the shore and meditating on the love of Jesus and the Blessed Mother which is higher than the sky, deeper than the sea and wider than the universe.

It seemed impossible that a rainbow should appear at  that time of the day because there was no rain and it was already past sunrise.

I was overjoyed and gave thanks to Jesus and I prayed thus:

“ Jesus ! are you showing me the twin rainbow that is the Ark of the Covenant and string that ties heaven and earth together so that abundant graces today would be bestowed on us ?

Praise be Jesus ! Glory to You and may the Blessed Mother be comforted.”

After eating, we had to take a ship to go to the place where the big conference would be held that afternoon. But even though it was a huge ship, it was not allowed to sail due to the typhoon warning according to the weather forecast. The people said that if the ship would set sail then, the choppy waters due to the storm might sink the ship and so they insisted not to sail.

But I told them I was okay and I could make it and so I got on board together with Father Jerry and his companions. As the conference already have been prepared and the people have been waiting for us,   if I was not present along with the priests, it will be cancelled, so we had to make this trip. As we were sailing, there was very heavy rain, and the sky turned dark that it was almost impossible to see.

It appeared impossible to sail due to the typhoon according to the weather forecast,but I had strong faith that Jesus will make this trip possible.  I was thinking of those who were scheduled to come to this conference.

As I was standing at the bow of the ship and with  my arms outstretched, I prayed to Jesus :“Jesus ! be with me !  Blessed Mother be with me !  Lord ! There is nothing impossible if You will it.

We are sailing to the place just for the glory of the Lord and the Blessed Mother. Therefore, guide us according to Your will” and I kept on praying for several hours until we reached the harbor.

Later on, I realized that two swimmers were sailing on another ship and followed me so that they will save me in case an emergency situation occurred.

Anyhow, In the middle of sailing, Father Jerry was trying to convince me to get out of the rain and get inside, but I just kept on praying. Then I saw a ray of light shone on the ship. As soon as we reached the harbor, the people who were waiting for us were shouting with joy.

They knew that our ship was not too big and they were afraid the heavy storm would sink it and drown all of us so they were all very worried. They were stomping their feet when all of sudden, they saw the scene of how it was pitch-black at that time and then suddenly a ray of light shone over the ship which surrounded it alone.

We all then realized that I did not get wet at all despite the fact that I have been standing outside in the middle of heavy rain.

The brother of a pastor who comes from a Protestant family of three generations old came to confirm whether they (our companion) reached the harbor or not. On finding out the miraculous event, he and many protestant friends realized this great grace and converted.

You believe that faith can move a mountain like this? Yet love can lift up the whole world.So then, how does it go if faith and love were joined together ?

We have Jesus and the Blessed Mother as our real father and our real mother. Therefore we have nothing to worry because we can live the life of the Resurrection filled with joy, love and peace.

Let us be born again with our faith and love.  Let us gain the victory of the Resurrection.

We believe that the Blessed Mother will make us be reborn in love. She will embrace us, watch over us and be a refuge for us as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.The Blessed Mother is always calling us like this.   She said “ I will help you with the power that crushes the head of the serpent.” Amen.
