The Way of Love for the Lord
FOREWORD Ever since the fall of Adam and Eve, we, human beings, have cut ourselves from our relationships with God, abusing free will and living in pride. Jesus who is the Lord became the sacrificial victim for the salvation of the human race and came to the world following the will of God the Father. The Blessed Mother who has been chosen as the helper in Redemption, responded with Amen, so the Lord’s Incarnation and Redemption could be achieved. Likewise, Julia Kim who has been chosen as an instrument of sacrifice and reparation by the Lord and the Blessed Mother responded with Amen. Since then, she has been graciously offering up the pain of death at each moment and submitted totally to Their will. The Lord and the Blessed Mother appeared in Naju, South Korea and have continued to perform miracles of the most sublime, pure and immeasurable love, giving messages of love for more than 30 years. That is the unlimited love, mercy and graces of love from the Lord and the Blessed Mother who want no soul to be lost but all in this world to be saved. However, it did not happen in a snap that the Lord and the Blessed Mother chose Julia, a little soul, as Their instrument. They have prepared her life thoroughly for this mission since she was 4 years old. The way prepared by the Lord was not a wide and luxurious road, but a narrow and thorny one filled with pain. Since young, her life has been the way of the Cross dotted with tears and sufferings which have been increasing over time. However, the little soul offered even more graciously all the pains of the Cross in order to sew up the Sacred Heart of Jesus that has been torn apart by the sins of the world. Through her tearful sacrifice and pain, Our Lord provides nourishment to numerous souls so that they may bloom as beautiful flowers, bearing fruits of graces. I have clearly seen how the Lord dwells and works in His little soul through the writings of this book, and understood what we should do to go through the narrow gate which God the Father wants us to. The Lord wants all the souls in the world to be saved and to enjoy eternal happiness in Heaven, so He shows us the shortcut to Heaven through Julia’s way of life. Julia whom God calls “My extremely beloved little soul” lays down her life for the salvation of others, confessing even in the midst of severe pains, “I am Yours if I live. I am Yours if I die. May Your will be done.” The little soul wished others to be in peace and worked diligently since she was so young. Even when she was dying of cancer which had spread throughout her whole body, she still took care of her own family and her husband’s family as well. The Five Spiritualities of Naju born from this altruistic love of hers is spiritual treasure in her Christian life, which she has been practicing with much effort and sacrifice, more than mere words. That treasure is also what the Lord wants us to practice. You will see it in this book over and over. Our Lord wants us to say the Prayers of Life and to offer up graciously our small or big crosses in our daily lives as little flowers woven with self-renunciation without complaints or resentment. The reason is, “I myself must change first. Then, others will change.” Since I met her, I was able to renew my religious values which I had known till then. I have learned much from her since I first visited Naju in 1995. From her, I have learned that God is not the Lord of rage who judges and punishes us, but the Lord of mercy and forgiveness who never gives up on us even when we continuously commit sins and who blesses us without questioning our past when we repent and come back to Him. It is not a vague comprehension. I truly felt, witnessed, and experienced the mercy of God who reveals Himself as a living God through Julia’s sacrifice, the depth of which nobody could even fathom. Through her life, we can clearly see that the perfection in virtues which the Saints achieved has not been completed by the Lord’s grace alone. It surely requires a soul’s cooperation and effort. When Julia was humiliated and attacked by people severely and frequently, she took it as ‘It was my fault, not yours’ and regarded it as ‘I received love’ instead of putting the blame on them. She did not harbor a grudge against them even during the time that she did not know Jesus or Mary yet. It is likened to lotus flowers which bloom more beautifully in muddy water. She has been offering up a fragrant holocaust filled with genuine love, sacrifice, and reparation at each and every moment. In this book, we will discover a great love that blossoms as a beautiful flower of consolation giving glory, praise and thanks to the Lord and the Blessed Mother. Many sleeping souls will be awakened and come to realize the truth that faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. Those who put into practice the lessons of this book will receive the light of mercy from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and come to realize what a genuine life of resurrection is. They will be nurtured with the Blessed Mother’s spiritual milk, and their wilted souls will be revitalized. The sweet rain of the Holy Spirit will quench the inner thirst of arid souls so that they may make a new start and be filled with love, joy, and peace. Hatred and anger, jealousy and envy, selfishness and misunderstandings will be turned into love, forgiveness, and reconciliation. I firmly believe that the will of Our Lord and Our Lady which They wish to accomplish through Their little soul, Julia, will be fulfilled faster through this book. We will clearly realize that the enemies whom we have to fight are not humans but Satan and demons as described in this book. Then, we will achieve triumph through love, and the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be established all over the world. Lastly, I would like to give my deepest love, thanks, and encouragement to Julia who is graciously offering up severe pain in the silence of love, even at this moment. I sincerely believe that the words which Jesus said to Julia, “In the future, you will be called an apostle of My Sacred Heart and My Mother Mary’s Immaculate Heart as well as an apostle of the Eucharist” will be truly fulfilled.” Amen!
