The Way of Love for the Lord Chapter 27. Lord rescued me from a traffic accident (February 8, 1982)
It was about 11:30 p.m. when I came home after finishing the entire schedule in Yeongam. As soon as I went into the house, my husband who had been waiting for me said to me in an urgent voice, “Honey! A terrible thing happened.” I asked him, “What happened?” He said, “The bus that the hairdressers were riding got into a big traffic accident. That’s why I’ve been waiting for you without going to sleep first.” I was devastated. The driver had a twenty-year accident-free driving history and the bus was also a brand-new one. Then how could the bus have gotten into such an accident? Later I heard the following; the vice-president and many hairdressers were hospitalized, and those who had been badly injured had to close their beauty parlors. One restaurant owner who had accompanied them also had to close her restaurant. I thought, ‘If the Lord had not poked me to stop me from going sightseeing, I would have gone with them reluctantly and would also have been greatly injured while I, as their president, was attending to their wants in the bus in order to please them.’ I gave my infinite thanks to the Lord for protecting and looking after me, but at the same time I felt that I owed them an apology and my heart was broken. Then I heard the kind voice of the Lord. “My beloved little soul! Do not worry too much. You have already done what you had to do. The sacrifice that you offered to Me today with love has turned into sweet rain. I will shower it down upon them, thereby revitalizing their souls that are getting destroyed gradually from within.”
