My ear, inflamed for 59 years, was healed!

My name is Camilla Choo from Seoul.

It was in the early 1940s when I was a 1st Grader.  Korea was still under Japanese colonial rule. While I was bathing in a creek with my friends, water got into one of my ears and caused an inflammation. At that time there were no doctors specializing in ear illnesses.  My elder brother was a doctor practicing general medicine and applied some antiseptic to my ear and gave me an injection of mycin. Symptoms improved for a while, but then worsened again.

Because I knew there were so many other people who had more serious illnesses like cancers and incurable diseases, I did not even pray for the healing of my ear, even though the pain was considerable. I prayed for others who needed help more badly than I did.

A greater difficulty began after my marriage. Because of the strong bad odor from my aching ear, my husband did not want to sleep next to me. Every day blood and pus came out of my ear, as if the eardrum were completely melting away. To block the bad odor, I slept sideways with the inflamed ear on the pillow.  In the morning, the pillow was very wet with blood and pus. I had to keep lots of cotton and toothpicks beside me.

Despite the continuing pains, I did not tell my husband that my ear problem had begun long before the marriage. I went to the hospital, pretending that the inflammation had begun recently. I considered a surgery, but the doctor said that surgery was not possible and told me to come back to the hospital whenever the pain was severe.

Recently a woman in my parish named Therese said to me, "You have so much pain in your ear. Should I bring some water from the Blessed Mother's spring in Naju?" She asked me to meet her at the church after the 10 a.m. Mass the next day.  At the church she gave me a 6-oz. bottle filled with the water from Naju. I was not convinced and said, "Could I really be healed with this water?" Actually, I myself had visited Naju once fifteen years ago, but since then have not been there any longer because the people around me have discouraged me from going there. After I came home with the water, I hesitated for a while, thinking, "Should I put this water in my ear or not?" Finally, I said to myself, "I will do it just as a test," and began dripping the water into in my ear while sitting in my sofa.  Then, I thought, "I will either live or die.  Many people say that they were healed," and poured all of the water in the bottle into my ear.  Water was flowing back out of the ear and lots of blood and pus came out also. My hands became wet with blood and pus.  I continued sitting in the sofa, making faces with much anxiety mixed with some hope. I kept wiping away the water from the ear. After about thirty minutes, nothing more was coming out.

It has been four years since then, but no water or pus has come out of my ear any more.  My ear has been completely healed after 59 years of inflammation and pains.

Thank You, Lord and Blessed Mother!

My family is being sanctified by turning my life into prayers and by practicing the Blessed Mother's messages of love.

My name is John the Baptist Ji-Sung Kim from the Dong Daeshin Parish in the Busan Diocese.  As I have received the graces of repentance and am living the life of resurrection through the Blessed Mother, I would like to share these graces with you.

It was in 2001 that I first learned about the Blessed Mother of Naju by visiting the Mary's Ark of Salvation website on the internet almost by accident.  After I began learning about the Blessed Mother of Naju, I gradually realized that I had been committing all the sins mentioned in the Ten Commandments except the sin of murder for ten years during which I had not been practicing the faith.  I had been so deeply mired in the secular life that God probably thought that He could not tolerate my condition any longer.  In April 2003, the right side of my face became paralyzed through a viral infection of the nerve cells.  At first, it did not seem too serious, as I understood that a facial paralysis could usually heal in about ten days by acupuncture.  The doctor said, however, that my case was caused by viruses and would take about a year to heal.  I was hospitalized, but, as it did not seem to help, I decided to go home and receive treatment through regular visits to the hospital.  While waiting to be discharged from the hospital, I suddenly began vividly remembering the image of the Blessed Mother's face shedding tears of blood.  I felt strongly that the Blessed Mother was calling me through this illness.  After I got home, I visited the website again at www.najumary.or.kr.  Now, my spiritual eyes were opening, and I was reading the messages more avidly.  I began realizing that the Blessed Mother's messages were meant for me and that she was shedding tears and tears of blood because of me.

Thus, I began making efforts to practice the Blessed Mother's messages, reading the Bible and praying every day.  My soul was changing.  To give thanks to the Blessed Mother for this and also to pray for healing of my physical illness, I visited the Blessed Mother's House (the Chapel in Naju) for the first time on the First Saturday of June.  Soon my facial problem improved, and now it is almost completely normal.  I have also been healed of so many evil habits of mine through turning my whole life into prayers.  I was carrying in my pocket the booklet on how to convert our lives into prayers.

I used to have the habit of not talking to others easily or being kind to them.  So, even when my father came to my house, I hardly talked to him.  Now, after I began reading the Blessed Mother's messages in Naju, I talk more easily to my father and obey him more promptly.  Now my relationship with my father improved a lot, and this also brought more peace and harmony to the whole family.

Before, I never did the dishes or cleaned the rooms.  I used to think that those were not men's work.  Now, to practice the turning of my life into prayers as explained by Julia, I willingly do the dishes and clean the rooms, at the same time, praying for my soul, my father, other family members, and all others around me.   I have also learned that, by praying for others, my merits accumulate also.  As the old saying goes, I am catching two birds with the same stone.  Thanks to this method of prayer explained by Julia, my soul is becoming healthier and the relationship in my family is becoming more harmonious.  I am so happy.  When there are more dishes to wash, I am even happier, because I think, "There are more souls who will repent today!

I also had a habit of looking at obscene images on the internet, but now I pray when I turn on the computer, "Lord, grant me the graces to glorify You more by using this computer.  Amen."  As I feel the presence of Jesus and the Blessed Mother by my side, I simply cannot open the bad images on the screen.

There is another lesson I have learned from consecrating my life to the Lord and converting my whole life into prayers.  It is the true meaning of saying: It is my fault, which Julia emphasizes throughout her diary.  During the prayers at Mass, we say, "It is my fault," but I was not practicing this in my real life.  Now I learned how to practice it from Julia's examples and words.

Thus, for the past seven or eight months, the Blessed Mother of Naju has been transforming me from living a secular life into knowing God through her.  I am so grateful.

I also had a bad habit of drinking without restraint.  Once I began drinking, I kept drinking until dawn.  God enabled me to stop drinking through my illness.  All my praise, gratitude, and glory to God the Father!  Also, my sincere gratitude to the Lord and the Blessed Mother!

The graces from the Blessed Mother of Naju are spreading in China also

My name is Anna Kang from Harbin in China.  We heard a lot about the Blessed Mother of Naju, and were overjoyed to see the Naju message book.  Some of the volunteers in the parish wished to visit Naju.

Then, last year several Korean people came to China and told us about the Blessed Mother of Naju.  They also gave us scapular rosaries and the water from the Blessed Mother's miraculous spring.  At that time we only knew about the water in Lourdes, and some of us had doubts about the water from Naju.  However, when a priest gave the Naju water to a dying woman, she regained health and is now working at a restaurant.  One elderly lady, who had had an eye problem for years, brought some of this water home.  When she washed her eyes with the water, her eyes became healthy.  Another elderly lady who had suffered from a back problem for years was healed after drinking the water from Naju.

Susanna Baik, who was the leader of our prayer group, also had a severe back problem and needed surgery.  The day before the scheduled surgery, she drank the miraculous water from Naju and was completely healed.

There are many people in China who wish to visit Naju.  You cannot even imagine how intensely they love the Blessed Mother's messages in Naju.   We believe and pray that everything in Naju will be approved soon and the messages of the Lord and the Blessed Mother will be fully realized.

"This must be a miracle from Heaven!"

My name is Theresa Park from Joong-hwa Dong in Seoul.

It was about six years ago.  My mother-in-law, 80 years old at that time, had a difficult personality.  She would start a fight with anyone.  Even within the family, she was on bad terms with everybody.  One day, she could not control her anger and swallowed herbicide that she had bought at a rural market.  It was about 5 a.m., when I woke up by the sounds of someone screaming in the yard.  When I went out, I saw my mother-in-law throwing up the herbicide that she had just swallowed.  I took her to the hospital, but the doctor said that there was no hope, as her internal organs were severely burned, and asked me to prepare (for the funeral).

At that moment, I suddenly remembered the water from the Blessed Mother's miraculous spring in Naju.  The doctor said that, if my mother-in-law was given water, she would die immediately.  Nevertheless, I gave her the miraculous water when the doctor was not present, thinking that, if my mother-in-law was dying anyway, I would at least let her drink the miraculous water.

About one hour after she drank the miraculous water, however, she became healthy and was discharged from the hospital the next day.  She said that she did not have any pain or discomfort in her stomach.  Actually, she was eating more easily than others.  She lived five more years and died last year.

My next testimony is about a healing that I received.

Because I had a severe headache for some time, I went to St. Paul's Hospital at the end of June last year.  The MRI test showed that I had a brain tumor.  To make sure, I went to a larger hospital, but the result of radiation test there was the same.  To make things worse, the doctor said, "There are three holes in the brain, which is a more serious problem than the tumor."  He said that it was a rare disease and a kind of cancer—actually, a very dangerous kind of cancer.  After a test of bone marrow also, I went home.  There was a panic in the family after learning about my fatal illness.  To prepare for my approaching death, I went to church to receive the Sacraments.

When I arrived at the church, it was five minutes before the evening Mass.  When I said to the priest, "Father, I would like to make a confession," I smelled a strong fragrance of roses, which I had smelled in Naju.  My younger sister who went with me also smelled the fragrance.

At that time, I did not have any of the miraculous water from Naju at home, and so asked my younger sister to bring some.  When I drank it, I smelled a powerful fragrance of roses again.  The water in the bottle continued to give off the fragrance.  When I drank all of it and refilled the bottle with more water from Naju, the strong fragrance still continued.

Twenty days after the first tests, I went back to the hospital.  I was filled with anxiety and fear, but, when I arrived at the hospital gate, I smelled the strong fragrance of roses again.  After the tests, the doctor said, "Congratulations!" and continued, "This is impossible.  This must be a miracle from Heaven."  The problems in my brain completely disappeared!

Thank You so much, Lord and Blessed Mother!

My brain damage was healed thanks to the graces from the Blessed Mother of Naju!

Good evening!  My name is Lucia Lee from Seoul.

On November 3, 1998, I had a stroke and was brought to the intensive-care unit of a hospital.  The doctor said that my cerebellum was severely damaged.  I lost the sense of balance and needed to sit in a wheelchair to move around at the hospital.  After I was discharged from the hospital, I had to hold on to something while I was walking.  When I was driving, it was very difficult to back up or park the car.

On December 8, 2001, the Solemnity of the Blessed Mother's Immaculate Conception, I came to Naju for the first time thanks to the information given by someone and smelled lots of the fragrance of roses while I was in Naju.

One month later, in January 2002, it was snowing heavily and my family members strongly opposed my going to Naju, but I was so anxious to come back to Naju that I came with my sister-in-law.  Despite the snowfall, we did the Stations of the Cross on the Blessed Mother's Mountain together with other pilgrims.  The doctor had told me that I might have another stroke, if I was exposed to cold weather, but we were able to finish the pilgrimage without any problem.

I firmly believe in the authenticity of the Blessed Mother of Naju.  While I was in the Chapel in Naju, I was looking at the large photographs of the Blessed Mother shedding tears and tears of blood and thought that she was weeping because of me.  I deeply repented of my sins and received lots of graces for my conversion.

On February 2, 2002, I again set out for Naju.  In the bus, there was a woman who was suffering from a severe headache.  Because I also was suffering from severe pains in my brain, as if it was being pricked with needles all over, I deeply sympathized with that woman and prayed for her throughout the trip to Naju.  She said that she was going to Naju hoping for her recovery.  While I was continuously praying for her, I suddenly felt that my eyesight became clear and my headache was gone also.  I could see the scenery outside the bus windows clearly.  I felt that it was the beginning of the healing of my illness.  The condition in my brain continued improving and was becoming normal.

Throughout the overnight prayer meeting in the Chapel in Naju that night, I continued smelling the odor of Oriental herbal medicine.  I asked around in the Chapel if anyone was taking herbal medicine, but there was no one taking any medicine during the prayer meeting.  It was only me who smelled the strong odor of herbal medicine.

The prayer meeting ended at about 4 a.m.  I went to the back room to buy several dozen scapular rosaries.  Then, I got on the bus and showed others the scapular rosaries, inviting them to smell the usual fragrance of roses from the scapular rosaries.  Before I handed the rosaries to other people, I smelled them first, but, to my surprise, it was the odor of herbal medicine instead of the fragrance of roses.  I asked others to smell it, but no one smelled any herbal medicine.  So, I tried again, but still smelled the same strong odor of herbal medicine.  When I arrived home, I smelled the scapular rosaries again, but this time it was the fragrance of roses!  Then, I noticed that I completely regained the sense of balance.  I was able to stand up straight without shaking or feeling dizzy after kneeling on the floor and wiping it for a while.  I made various body movements to make sure.  I also shook my head vigorously like a mad person, but it did not make me feel dizzy or shaky.  The pains were completely gone also.  After examining me, the doctor said that I was completely healed.

Thus, I was healed during a pilgrimage trip to Naju.  Now, I attend Mass every day and pray fifteen decades of the rosary every day.  This is truly a miracle to me.

There is one more.  One day when I was coming back from a rural town, I made a wrong step and the ligament was stretched. There was swelling as big as a half of an egg and dark in color because of bleeding from ruptured veins.  I continued going to work, but limped whenever I walked.  People said that it would take at least one month for healing.  I wanted to visit a hospital, but had to delay it because of too much work.

One morning, I rubbed the wound with the water from the Blessed Mother's spring in Naju.  I repeated it at lunch time and in the evening.  The next morning, when I had an appointment at the hospital, I found my foot back to normal.  The swelling was completely gone along with the pain and the dark color.  I had no problem walking around or at the workplace.  I only applied the water three times, but was healed in one day.

Thank You so much, Lord and Blessed Mother!

My legs were restored to the same length ? Andrew Han-Ghil Kim  (Mar 7, 2004)

Good evening!  My name is Andrew Han-Ghil Kim from the Jinwol-dong Parish in Gwangju.  Almost twelve years ago, on the First Saturday of October 1992, I came to Naju for the first time with my parents.  Since then, I have attended every First Saturday overnight prayer meeting and every Thursday evening Holy Hour prayer meeting.  I would like to share with you a special grace that I recently received from the Blessed Mother.

Now I am a high-school freshman.  When I was four years old, I was in a car accident and the bones in my right leg were broken at three places.  After it was healed, my right leg became longer than my left leg.  In the first few years, I did not experience any inconvenience.

From the time when I was a 6th grader, I grew faster.  In my first year in junior high school (7th grade), my height became 173 cm (5' 8") and my right leg was 3 cm (more than 1 inch) longer than my left leg.  When I was standing, it was obvious that I was leaning to the left.  From my second year in junior high school, I began feeling pains in my spine as it was becoming bent.  Especially in summer, when I often wore short pants, some of my friends noticed it and said, "Uh! Your legs don't look normal?"  I answered, "Yes, I had an accident when I was little."  I felt more pains especially when I was sitting in a chair for a long time, which I did every day at school.  I told my parents about it, but they did not think it was serious.  I was sad and was becoming sensitive even about little things.  Many times, I wept when nobody saw me.

When I was in the 3rd year of junior high school, my height was more than 179 cm (almost 5' 11"), and the difference between my two legs grew bigger also.  I had more difficulties in my daily life.  As my body was unbalanced, my mind was becoming unbalanced, too.

Then, on February 12 of this year, while I was attending the Thursday evening Holy Hour prayer meeting, I suddenly felt some quite forceful pulse-like pattering movement or vibration in my left knee, which even made audible sounds.  Immediately I thought, "Ah!  The Blessed Mother must be giving me the grace of healing!  Lord, Your Will be done!" and asked my father sitting next to me to feel my knee.  After feeling my left knee with his hands, my father was greatly surprised and said, "Jesus! Blessed Mother!  Thank You!  Through the sufferings, sacrifices, and reparations by Julia Kim, You are healing my son Andrew!"  My mother also felt my knee and opened her eyes widely with surprise.  The amazing miracle of healing did not end there.  The forceful pattering movement and sounds from my left knee continued for more than ten minutes, and I was completely healed.  My two legs became of the same length, and my bent, aching spine was also healed completely.  My mind and heart, which had begun to become bent, were also healed.  As the shorter left leg became longer to the same length as the right leg, my overall height became 1.5 cm greater than before.

Before the healing, I was nervous and uneasy even over little things and had a habit of negative thinking.  After the healing, I have become positive and joyful over everything.  Before, when I was praying the rosary, I had many distractions even from the first decade.  Now, I can pray the whole fifteen decades with hardly any distraction.

As the Lord and the Blessed Mother of Naju healed my soul also through the healing of my left leg, I will make unceasing efforts to live the life that the Lord and the Blessed Mother want me to live, turning my entire life into prayers.

Thank You, Lord and Blessed Mother!
