Thirteenth
Station: Let us meditate on the Sacred Body of Jesus being lowered from
the Cross.
We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You.
Because by Your holy cross, You have redeemed
the world.
Blessed
Mother, you are holding the cold and lifeless Body of the Lord, lowered from
the Cross, and are miserably weeping and grieving!
How
can we, who are so unworthy, possibly measure the extreme pains that you
suffered while watching your Son's Death and the pains that you received while
holding the Sacred Body of your Son, weeping ceaselessly and sorrowfully?
We
are sinners who have nothing but shamefulness to offer, but, even when we are
lonely, sad, or painful or receive all kinds of insults and criticisms, we will
meditate on the miserable sufferings of the Mother and try to willingly and
with love offer up the whole remainder of our lives to the Lord and the Blessed
Mother.
As
we intend to gracefully offer up even the unhealed wounds still wrapped up with
bandages by turning our lives into prayers, help us display the power of love
more vigorously imitating the intense Love of the Lord and the Blessed Mother
for which You shed blood for the dying souls, and offer up our loyalty in
heroic ways. (Meditate for a while.)
"I
did not redeem the children in the world with gold, silver, precious stones, or
worldly power, but redeemed them with the Blood that I shed from My Body to its
last drop and in union with the sublimest Love of God. I will use these
merits from shedding the Blood of Love for the conversion of sinners"
(The Lord's message on July 28, 1987, from Julia's diary).
Amen.
Our
Father, Hail Mary, and Glory be.
Mother,
we ask you to engrave the Lord's Wounds deeply into our hearts.
