Fourteenth
Station: Let us meditate on the burial of Jesus' Sacred Body
We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You.
Because by Your holy cross, You have redeemed
the world.
Lord,
Who are the Love Itself, You could have come down from the Cross, but died on
the Cross and were buried in the tomb in order to complete everything, because
there could not be resurrection without death!
The
Lord, Who is the beginning and the end and has the keys to the death, hell, and
Heaven, has offered up His whole Body for our sake despite our
unworthiness. How can we, sinners, measure all His high, deep, wide, and
infinite Love?
Beloved
Mother, the greatest treasure in the Church and the extremely holy Queen of the
Universe! How painful those hours were to you when you lost your Son and
were left alone! Your sufferings began at the moment of conceiving your
Son, but you expressed human sorrows for the first time and prayed all night
for the conversion of sinners, even being unaware of the passage of time.
We
are unworthy and so sinful, but guide us so that we may always remember the
Mother's extreme pains, turn every moment of our lives into a prayer, carry
well the large and small crosses, and live a completely consecrated life.
(Meditate for a while.)
"I
suffered all kinds of pains, was nailed to the Cross and died on it. My
dying on the Cross was not the end. Even at this moment, I come to you
shedding Blood in order to be with you, hoping that all ?even those who
crucified Me and even the most wicked sinners as well as the innocent ones ? will repent, be saved and become one in the Holy Trinity. . . I wish that you
realize My having offered everything together with My Mother for your sake and
that all of you repent." (July 1, 1996)
Amen.
Our
Father, Hail Mary, and Glory be.
Mother, we ask you to engrave
the Lord's Wounds deeply into our hearts.
